Today, December 21, 2021, is the last date to register for the CISF AC LDCE examination, to be conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). The Central Industrial Security Force Assistant Commandant Executive Limited Departmental Competitive Examination (CISF AC LDCE) is all set to be held on March 13, 2022. Interested candidates have time up to 6:00 pm today to complete the application process. Of course, to apply for this recruitment drive, candidates need to fulfill the eligibility criteria prescribed by the commission.
The eligibility criteria for the CISF AC LDCE exam have been decided by the Ministry of Home Affairs. Accordingly, a candidate must have successfully completed 04 years of service in the rank of Sub. Inspector (GD)/Inspector(GD), as on January 01, 2022. The period of basic training is also included in the 4-year time frame. Moreover, a candidate needs to maintain a clean record of service throughout his service to be deemed eligible.
Eligibility Criteria
UPSC has also specified the age-related restrictions applicable for the CISF AC LDCE recruitment drive. Accordingly, a candidate should not attain the age of 35 years on or before August 01, 2022. Alternately, a candidate must not have been born earlier than August 02, 1987. While this is the general age-related criterion, UPSC has provided a relaxation of 5 years (maximum) for a candidate belonging to a reserved category, namely SC or ST.
Coming to the educational prerequisites, each candidate applying for the CISF AC LDCE recruitment drive must have attained a bachelor’s degree from a government-recognized university. A particular field of graduation has not been specified.
Of course, a candidate who possesses an NCC ‘B’ or ‘C’ certificate will be a desirable candidate. Such desirable skills and qualifications will be taken into account only during the interview or personality test. For that, however, a candidate needs to qualify the initial stages of the recruitment drive.
To apply for the CISF AC LDCE recruitment exam, a candidate needs to also fulfill a set of medical and physical standards. These are pertaining to height, chest, weight, shape, eyesight (distant and near vision), etc. These standards must also be fulfilled to be eligible for the recruitment drive. Of course, these standards are tested at a later stage of the selection process. But it never hurts to prepare ahead of the recruitment drive.
As stated clearly by the commission, each candidate needs to fulfill the specified eligibility criteria to appear for the exam. Otherwise, his/her candidature will not be accepted for subsequent rounds of the CISF AC LCDE recruitment.
