The revised timetable for both classes 10 and 12 of CISCE has been uploaded on the official website cisce.org. Despite the speculations that arose earlier over the mode of examinations, it was later on decided that the CISCE exams will be held in the offline or pen and paper-based mode. The admit cards contain every detailed information that candidates must follow on the examination day.
Questions papers for the exam will be distributed at least 10 minutes prior to the commencement so that students get some time to go through them. There will be stringent guidelines regarding social distancing and other COVID-19 related protocols. Candidates must ensure that they do not fail to follow them. Although the class 12 ISC examinations have already started, the class 10 ICSE exams will commence on November 29, 2021.
Each term or semester of CISCE board examinations will hold 50% weightage for evaluation. This has been done to ensure that in case of any untoward situation, there is some way for evaluation. The second semester exam is likely to take place in March or April 2022. To aid the students, the Board has also reduced the syllabus for both classes 10 and 12. Although the duration of the examinations will be for one and a half hours, there will be project work and practical exams for all the candidates.
A decision has also been passed to allow the class 12 students to use calculators. However, the calculator must be of Casio fx – 82 (Scientific) calculator or others that have similar functions.
