Check Your E-Mail For RPF 2018 Roll Number; Admit Card Releasing On 9 December

Railway Protection Force (RPF) is releasing the RPF 2018 Roll Number today, on November 15. As per the announcement made via an official circular the roll numbers will be sent to the candidates in their registered email id. Thus, candidates must regularly check their inboxes for RPF 2018 Roll Number.

The roll number which RPF will be sending today to the candidates will be needed on the exam day to access the CBT. Thus, candidates have to keep their roll number safe and confidential.

Railway Protection Force (RPF) is conducting the CBT exam starting December 19, 2018. Now the admit card for the CBT exam will be available from December 09, 2018 onward. It is thus important to note that the roll number only is being intimidated to the candidates today, the admit card will be releasing later as per the schedule. The admit card will have the detailed instructions of the exam, exam date, time, exam center name and address, roll number, name and other important details.

The candidates will be able to download their admit card/e-call letter from the official website only. The official website for RPF Constable Recruitment 2018 is constable.rpfonlinereg.org and for RPF SI Recruitment 2018 it is si.rpfonlinereg.org. Unlike the roll number, candidates will not be sent their admit card individually in their respective emails.

The candidates have to visit the official website to download their RPF Recruitment  2018 CBT admit card. However, the candidates will be intimidated individually about their allotted CBT exam date, test center, timing and detailed instructions. The exam will be held in 6 groups.

It is also notified via the circular that the test centers for the CBT exam will be allocated within 200 KM of the candidate’s home district for their better convenience.

RPF Recruitment 2018 will be done in 4 phases. First being the CBT, second being the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) & Physical Measurement Test (PMT), third will be the Trade Test (Only For Drivers / Ancillary Staff / Band) and last will be the Document verification. However, it must be noted that their will be no CBT for the Constable (Band) and Sub-Inspector (Band) positions.

Now, the computer based test will have questions from General Awareness, Arithmetic, and General Intelligence and Reasoning. The marking scheme is +1 for correct answers and -1/3 for each wrong attempt. Now, there will be 50 questions in the General Awareness section, 35 questions each in Arithmetic and General Intelligence Reasoning section. This pattern will remain same for both SI and Constable positions. The duration of the CBT will be 90 minutes.

The RPF Recruitment 2018 is being conducted for a total of 9739 vacancies, of which 8619 are for RPF Constable and 1120 for RPF SI.
