Central Coal Fields Limited is hiring eligible candidates for the vacant posts of Junior Overman. An employment notification is published on centralcoalfields.in advertising 75 vacancies. These vacant posts shall only be filled by female candidates. Online registrations have already started from October 12, 2020. Eligible and interested candidates can submit their applications for Central Coals Fields Ltd recruitment before November 11, 2020.
The post of Junior Overman is available under T&S Grade C. The advertised vacancies are bifurcated amongst the different categories as per the rules of reservation. Out of the total available vacancies, 12 are for Unreserved category, 03 are for SC, 07 are for ST and 02 are for EWS category candidates. In addition, there are 48 backlog vacancies that are only available for ST category candidates.
The selected candidates are posted in any area/unit/project of CCL. They have to undergo a training session that is organized for one year. They also receive a monthly salary of Rs. 31852.56/- during their training session. On successful completion of training, their probation period gets over.
To submit applications, aspirants must have a valid overman’s certificate competency from DGMS under the Coal Mines Regulation Act. Moreover, they shall also possess Gas Testing Certificate and First Aid Certificate. Candidate’s age should not be less than 18 years and should not be more than 30 years while applying, CCL will calculate the age as on November 10, 2019.
Candidates are required to apply online for CCL recruitment by visiting centralcoalfields.in. The CCL application form can be submitted in two steps – registration and submission of the application form. Candidates belonging to General and OBC category also have to pay an application fee of Rs. 200/-. Only SC/ ST category candidates are exempted from the application fee submission.
Moreover, the hard copy of the online application and supporting document should reach the conducting body by November 21, 2020. All the documents and application should be submitted through registered post to “The General Manager (Recruitment), Recruitment Department, 2nd Floor, Damodar Building, Central Coalfields Limited, Darbhanga House, Ranchi-834001”. On the envelope, mention the name of the post, application ID in Block Letters.
Selection of candidates for this post is based on the written test. Eligible aspirants are called for the MCQ based written test for which the schedule will be released soon at CCL website centralcoalfields.in. The selected candidates have to appear for the medical test as well that is conducted by the company’s Authorized Medical Board.
