Bihar Public Service Commission is inviting online applications for the 373 vacancies of Auditor (Bihar Panchayat Audit Service). Eligible and intending candidates can download the official notification with Advt no. 67/2020 by visiting the official website, bpsc.bih.nic.in. The online registrations for Auditor recruitment start from October 21, 2020. Submit the online applications for BPSC Auditor recruitment on or before November 18, 2020.
The post of Auditor (Bihar Panchayat Audit Service) is announced under Panchayati Raj Department, Govt. of Bihar. Candidates who are shortlisted for the vacant posts get recruited under the pay scale of Rs. 5200/- to Rs. 20200/- with grade pay of Rs. 2800/-.
To apply for the post of Auditor, candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/ Economics/ Statistics/ Mathematics. Those who possess MBA(Finance)/ CA/ ICWA/ CS are eligible to submit their applications for BPSC Auditor recruitment. Moreover, aspirants have to ensure that they meet the age limit as prescribed by BPSC. The minimum age limit for all the category is 21 years. However, the upper age limit for the unreserved category is 37 years, for Unreserved female, BC and EBC candidates is 40 years and for SC/ ST is 42 years.
The link to apply for Auditor recruitment will activate as per schedule on bpsc.bih.nic.in. Aspirants have to navigate to the ‘apply online’ followed by “BPSC Online Application” button present on the left side of the screen. Thereafter, candidates have to create their profile by registering themselves online. In successful registration, a username and password are generated which aspirants can use to login and fill BPSC application form. Once done take a print out of the submitted application form. Ensure that each page contains registration number, bar code and submitted application number.
Applicants are also required to pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs. 600/-. SC/ ST/ Women/ All candidates of Bihar/ PWD candidates have to pay Rs. 150/- as the application fee. Applicants can pay the fee through online mode before November 18, 2020.
The selection to the advertised post is based on the preliminary examination, mains examination and interview round. First, BPSC will conduct prelims examination for 150 marks. The BPSC prelims examination carries multiple-choice questions that are based on general knowledge. On qualifying prelims examination, candidates are invited for mains examination. The mains written examination is followed by the interview round. This round is organised for 200 marks. The final merit list will be uploaded on the BPSC website accordingly.
