Medical and Public Health Officer is inviting eligible candidates to fill up the vacant posts of paramedics. The recruitment is for 28 Multi-Purpose Health Worker, 32 vacancies for Staff Nurse and 28 for Pharmacist. They are required to serve at various COVID Care Home/COVID Gruhas of each Panchayat. Eligible candidates can submit their applications before July 27, 2020, by 05:00 PM. The detailed notification with Advt. No. 5518/2020 is available on rayagada.nic.in.
The recruitment to the announced post is on a temporary basis. Candidates are appointed as Multi-Purpose Health Worker, Staff Nurse and Pharmacist for a period of 03 months or till COVID-19 is under control. The salary is calculated on per day basis. Candidates selected for MPHW (F) are paid Rs. 850/- per day, Staff Nurse get Rs. 1000 per day and Pharmacist get Rs. 1000 per day.
To apply for MPHW, candidates must have passed 12th class and Health Worker Training Course that is conducted by Odisha State Nursing and Midwives Board. Only female candidates can submit their forms against the Multi-Purpose Health Worker. Candidates who have passed 10+2 and have Diploma in GNM can apply for Staff Nurse. Those who have passed 10+2 and have Diploma in D. Pharma is eligible for the post of Pharmacist. In addition, they must have OMC registration certification to apply for all posts. Candidates must have completed 21 years as on June 30, 2020. Their age must not exceed 32 years.
The application procedure for paramedics recruitment is conducted through an offline process only. Eligible candidates can download the application form through the official website, rayagada.nic.in. In the application form, candidates have to mention the post they are applying for, advertisement number/date, WhatsApp number, valid employment registration number, educational qualification and their current employment status. The form should be submitted as per the schedule to Chief District Medical & Public Health Officer, Rayagada via post. The envelope must be superscribed with “Application for engagement under COVID-19 for the post of……………..”.
The list of the number of candidates who applied for the post will be uploaded on the website between August 01, 2020, to August 04, 2020. The selection of the candidates depends on the educational qualification. Each qualification has been allocated with certain marks which aspirants have to secure to get appointed for the post. For MPHW (F), 50% marks are awarded to aspirants who have qualified 12th standard and 50% marks are awarded to those with ANM Trg. Similarly, for the post of Staff Nurse and Pharmacist, 20% marks are given for Higher Secondary certificate, for 10+2 30% marks are awarded and 50% marks for Diploma holders.
