Office of the Chief District Medical & Public Health Officer, Puri is inviting applications to fill up vacancies for the posts of Doctors and Public Health Manager. CDM & PHO Puri has published the official recruitment notification at puri.nic.in. Candidates holding a Bachelor’s degree in Medicine & Surgery and Master’s degree in Public Health are eligible for the recruitment. Walk-in-interviews are scheduled to be conducted on December 16, 2020, from 11.00 AM for recruitment to Doctor posts. For the post of PHM, candidates have to send their applications in the prescribed proforma by post on or before December 22, 2020.
As per the official notification available at puri.nic.in, there are 2 vacancies available for the post of Doctor (DHH-SNCU) and 2 vacancies for Doctor (NCD & DMPH) at DHH. In addition, 01 vacancy is also available for the post of Public Health Manager under NUHM. All of the posts are to be filled up on a contractual basis. Candidates selected for the post of PHM will receive a monthly base salary of Rs 22973. Doctors will receive a monthly base salary of Rs 66679. In addition, incentives will also be provided to the incumbents appointed to any of the advertised vacancies.
CDM & PHO Puri Recruitment 2020 Official Notification
Candidates must check the detailed eligibility conditions before applying for this recruitment. Those who are holding an MBBS degree with at least 2 years of experience in pediatric ward are eligible to apply for the post of Doctor (DHH-SNCU). Those who have MBBS degree with MCI registration can apply for the post of Doctor (NCD & DMHP) at DHH. For the posts of Doctor, higher qualifications as specified against each post are preferable. In addition, candidates must also note that maximum age to apply for the post of Doctor is 68 years.
For the post of Public Health Manager, candidates must have a Master’s Degree in Public Health or PG Diploma in Public Health. However, candidates with qualifications including MBA, PGDBA, Master’s degree or PG Diploma in Healthcare Management/Hospital Management/Health & Hospital Management/MSW are also eligible to apply. Candidates must have passed their qualifying degrees by studying in a program for at least 2 years duration and by obtaining at least 50% marks. 1 year of relevant post qualification experience is also required to apply for this recruitment.
Those who wish to apply for the post of Public Health Manager have to fill up their applications as per the prescribed proforma and send them to the Office of the CDM&PHO, Puri by Registered/Speed post. However, those who intend for recruitment to the post of Doctor have to appear in the walk-in-interviews as per schedule mentioned above. The interview will be conducted at the office of the CDM&PHO, Puri. Candidates must ensure that they bring the filled up application form and carry it to the interview along with original documents and one set of self-attested copies of them.
