So, like the subjects Commerce and Science, now, class 12 board exams will notice the practical and project work in the evaluation of Humanities subjects.
The CBSE Board is trying to make the changes in those subjects which are only theory based. So, for the better understanding, the board is trying to put the practicals for these subjects.
As per the officials, with the help of this initiative, there would be the increments in the marks also. So, this revamped scheme will be applicable for 2019-20 and for 2020 session candidates. It would also be beneficial for the teachers too. They can teach students in a better way.
The board has set the objective to make the exam process more pertinent and beneficial for the students. It would make the exams more relevant and practical based. Students will also get some relief from this heavy theory based exams’ process.
As per the current process, the practical exams are used to be conducted in the school itself. But the external invigilators do the markings for these practical exams.
