CBSE board examinations are going to begin from the month of February. So, now a time has come to give a final touch up to our preparation. Students of class 10 and 12 from CBSE board if you still not prepared all the subject then hurry up. Studying and preparing all the topics is not enough to score good marks in the examinations. To complete the preparation do a proper revision before the examinations. Now, there are many students who are still in dilemma with how to revise before the exams.
First of all mark the date on which you are going to start the revision. It is highly advised to CBSE class 10 and 12 students to do revision twice before the commencement of the board exams. However, you can do so as per your preparation strategy. So, let’s check out at the tips of revision based on the personal experience as well as shared by the toppers of the previous years.
Tip 1: To start a revision for the first time make ensure that you have atleast 15 to 20 days left to do a revision. After this make a small schedule and listed out with which subject you are going to revise. I would suggest to start your revision in the same order of your available date sheet. Or you can also go for the most difficult subject first then the least difficult as per your choice.
Tip 2: After this manage your time. At what time you will start early in the morning or a bit late. As per toppers shared experience studying early in the morning is more effective for remembering the things for a long term. It would be suggested to you to divide the chapters and the time accordingly.
Tip 3: While revising the chapters you have prepared, you may feel that you are studying for the first time. So, do not worry and make small notes. As while learning writing the things builds inner confidence and helps the students to remember the things for a long period of time.
Tip 4: Do not take the revision in the restless mood. Take proper rest whenever you feel your mind is tired and after some time with fresh mind continues to study.
Tip 5: After the first time revision go for the second time revision. Revise all the important topics and the formulas and then practice a sample paper and the previous year question papers. This will acquaint the students with the pattern of the upcoming question paper.
CBSE class 10 and 12 subjects include both theory subjects and the numerical based subjects. So, for the theory subjects such as English, Hindi, Social Science, Biology etc do not try to mug up the entire context. Try to understand the things and make the notes of the important points. On the day of examination elaborate these points as per the weightage of the questions. And for numerical based or formula based subjects such as maths, physics, chemistry, accountancy, business studies etc.
CBSE class 10 and 12 board examinations are going to begin from the month of February. Firstly with the vocational subjects and then the core subjects by the month of March. CBSE class 12 exams going to start from February 15 followed by class 10 exams from February 21, 2019.
