Students are hereby alerted that a fake notification is doing the rounds on social media on CBSE result 2021 – 2022. The notice poses to be an official notification from the Central Board of Secondary Education, and says that CBSE is declaring the class 10th, 12th term 1 results today, on January 25, 2022. However, this is a photoshopped notice and does not bear any facts.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will not be releasing the results for the term 1 class 10 board examinations. Although an official notification has been circulating the internet since yesterday, this has turned out to be fake news. This was also confirmed by a reputed educationist on a popular social media site Twitter. As per reports, the Board has confirmed that the term 1 results are not going to be announced today. The officials have added, to various media houses, that the tentative date on which the results will be out is February 01, 2022.

As per the notification that was making rounds on social media, the results for class 10 term 1 board examinations were supposed to be released today. Students and guardians could check the results from the official websites of CBSE – cbse.nic.in, results.nic.in, cbseresults.nic.in. The schools were mandated to get the results of the students using the newly created official email IDs. Moreover, the certificates would have been released on the DigiLocker app. Alternatively, there are different ways using which the students would get their results including Digilocker, Umang app, SMS, and IVRS.
CBSE’s Stance
The Board has already provided a tentative date on which the results are expected to be out, which is February 01. However, it is also likely for the results to be available by the end of January but that is again uncertain. CBSE officials have mentioned that they have not been informed of any declaration yet. At present, the result declaration process is underway and further updates regarding the same would be hosted on cbse.gov.in.
Various reports on the interned provide manifold opinions about the CBSE results. Some say that the term 1 results will not be announced now and will be released together with the term 2 results. These are mere speculations that the reports are making so it is advised that students pay heed to only official sources.
When will the results be declared?
The CBSE term 1 examinations were conducted between November 30 and December 11, 2021 for class 10. For class 12, the exams took place from December 01 to December 22, 2021. Until yet, the Board has only provided a tentative date on which the students can expect their results. As and when the results are officially announced, one can check the same from CBSE’s official website – cbse.gov.in.
Soon after the declaration of the results, it is reported that the formalities for the term 2 examinations will commence. Unlike term 1, the term 2 examinations will be held in March – April, 2022. The second term examinations will have both long and short answer type questions.
