As per the latest report, CBSE is not releasing the date sheet for the 2019 session this week. Earlier, it was expected the Central Board of Secondary Education will disclose the CBSE Date Sheet 2019 for class 10 and 12 in the first week of October. But now, it is confirmed that CBSE is not doing so.
Official Confirmation
According to an Official of CBSE, the date sheet of 2019 session will be available in the upcoming months. But CBSE is not disclosing it in this current week of October 2018.
CBSE Date Sheet 2019 will be available online on the official website of cbse.nic.in. On the homepage, the candidates will get the link of the date sheet.
On the basis of the notification released by CBSE, the vocational exam of class 10 and class 12 from the second half of February 2019. CBSE provides 15 skill educational subjects in class 10 while the number of the vocational courses of class 12 is 40. There are some other subjects which have less than 500 students such as Graphics, Office Communication, Web Applications. So, CBSE is trying to cover the exams of these subjects in the month of February 2019. For the core subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Geography, Languages etc, the exams are expected to be held in the month of March 2019.
Till 2018, the vocational and the main exams used to be held combined in the month of March. But from 2019 session onwards, the board exams for vocational and the core subjects will be conducted separately. CBSE does not want to pressurize the students. So, the board is taking this initiative.
Marking Scheme Changes: Need to Pass External Theory and Internal Assessment Separately
As per the latest information, CBSE has also tightened its rules this year. The marking scheme of CBSE has been changed. Now, the students of class 10 will have to secure the passing marks separately in the theory as well as in the internal assessment. So, the students will have to obtain the 33% in both exams. Simply, candidates will have to secure 27 out 80 marks in the board examination and a minimum of 7 marks out of 20 in the internal assessment.
