CBSE has extended the registration date for Class 9 and 11 students for the session 2018-19. The last date has been extended up to October 30, 2018, without the late fee. The Central Board of Secondary Education has released a notification at cbse.nic.in. According to the notification, the affiliated schools will have to finish the registration until the last date.
The board has extended the registration date due to holidays on the account of Dasara and ‘Titli’ cyclone which affected some states. So, when CBSE found that the affiliated schools are facing some difficulty in registering students, the board has taken this decision.
If the schools would not register the students till the last date then they will get the chance to do the registration process with the late fee. With the late fee rs. 1000/- (total 1150), the schools can fill the registration form till November 12, 2018. If the schools miss the chance then they will be able to do the registration with the late fee 2000/- (total 2150) till November 20, 2018. The final date for the registration process is November 28, 2018, with the late fee 5000/- (total 5150).
CBSE has also mentioned that now the registration date will not be further extended. So, all the affiliated schools must do the registration of class 9, 11 students accordingly.
According to the Central Board of Secondary Education, Aadhar Number is not mandatory for the registration. The filed of the Aadhar Card Number is available. But those students who have the Aadhar Number can fill the same. Rest of the students can fill the Passport Number, Ration Card Number, Bank Account Number or any of the number confirmed by the Government.
The registration process for Class 10 and 12 has been started.
