Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released an official notice for the assessment of Project Work in Hindi Core and Hindi Elective. CBSE has come up with a big change in the assessment of marks for class 12th students who opted for Hindi subject. For an academic session, 2018-19 CBSE has decided to include the project work of weightage 10 marks in Hindi subject. Along with this, these 10 marks will be awarded to the students by the external examiner. So, students of class 12th from CBSE board be prepared as now your project work will also going to be the part of the final evaluation process.
Hindi core ( subject code 302) and Hindi Elective ( subject code 002) will now consist of total 20 internal marks. Out of this total 20 marks, 10 marks are for ASL ( Assessment of Speaking and Listening ) and the rest 10 marks are for the project work. In the end, these marks will be uploaded by the school authorities through the link provided to them for this purpose.
Now, the question comes to the mind that how these marks will be calculated at the time of the result. Then students please note down that marks obtained in the theory of Hindi and the marks for project work will be considered separately. This means that in order to get pass in Hindi core and Hindi Elective a student must have 33% marks in ASL and Project work and 33% marks in theory.
If any student is not able to fulfill this required passing criteria. Then he/ she will not declare pass in Hindi Core and Hindi Elective subject. So, students internal assessment for Hindi Subject is now of equal weightage as of the theory subject. The marks obtained in the theory paper will not enough to pass in Class 12th Hindi subject. Students have to make an equal balance between their internal performance as well as the external.
CBSE has introduced a number of changes in the examination pattern for class 10th and 12th. The passing criteria for class 10th is 33% including the theory and the internal marks. While on the other hand, for class 12th CBSE has decided to score 33% marks separately in the internals and the main exams. However, this criteria is only valid for class 12 Hindi core and Elective subject.
CBSE class 10th and 12th date sheet 2019 will be available soon. Expectedly by the second week of January or before. However, the board has come up with the final dates for the practicals of class 12th. The dates are from January 16 to February 15.
