IMPORTANT THINGS TO CHECK on XAT 2019 ADMIT CARD

XAT 2019 Admit Card has been available to download at xatonline.ac.in. Candidates can access the hall ticket using the user id and password. So, with the availability of the admit card, there are a few things that candidates must not miss to observe. So after downloading the XAT 2019 hall ticket, read the important instructions carefully to avoid inconvenience on the exam day. The XAT 2019 is scheduled to take place on January 06, 2019.

#1. Important Exam Timings

Candidates have to reach the exam centre latest by 8:30 AM. Last year, the timings were 8:45 AM. So, with the change in the reporting time, test takers must strictly adhere to the exam timings. There is no entry after 09:40 AM. Also, this time it has not been mentioned when the Demo Test will start. However, candidates will able to login only 10 minutes before the starting of the exam. The test will start exactly at 10:00 AM and will over at 01:00 PM. Visually Impaired candidates will get extra 10 minutes.

The last date to download the admit card is January 03, 2019, as written on the information brochure. However, may unofficial sources claiming that last date is January 06, 2019 as the release date was delayed. Candidates must not keep this confusion and download the XAT 2019 admit card immediately.

#2. Locate Exam Centre

Students must locate the exam centre atleast one day before the exam. For the convenience of the students, XAT has also embedded Google link to search the exam centre. This new feature has also been seen in the CAT examination this year. Plan the traveling route so that there is no delay in reaching the test location. Keep the buffer of 30 minutes in case of unavoidable circumstances.

#3. Documents to Carry

On the exam day, candidates must have two copies of the admit card. Along with it, affix passport size photograph as uploaded in the XAT 2019 Form. In case the printed photograph is not clear, then carry an extra recent passport size colored photograph. Also, carry an identity proof (original and valid) among Aadhar Card, Voter Id Card, PAN Card, Valid College ID Card, Passport, Driving License, and Employee ID Card.

#4. Debarred Items

Candidates must not carry any debarred items inside the exam hall. Some of them are electronic devices, Jewelry, Study Material, Calculators, Water Bottles, Eatables etc. Any such items have to be left outside and the test staff will not take responsibility for the candidates’ belongings. Friends, Relatives, or Guardians are not allowed inside the exam hall.

#5. Submission of Documents to Invigilator

During the exam, candidates will get the scribble pad and pen to attempt the exam. Thus after the exam, test takers have to submit both to the test invigilator. Also, submit one copy of admit card to the invigilator. Following that, candidates will be allowed to leave the exam hall.

This year, the admit card does not contain the password, demo time and pattern of the exam. There are chances that they may not be applicable this year or some new changes may take place on the exam day.

All the Best for XAT 2019!
