JKBOSE Witnesses Lowest Pass Percentage in Class 12 Result; Know Past Ten Years Stats Here

JKBOSE Witnesses Lowest Pass Percentage in Past Ten Years

The Jammu and Kashmir State Board of School Education has released Class 12 Result 2018 for Kashmir Division Winter Zone. This year, out of the total appeared students, around 51.77% candidates were passed. As compared to the past ten years, this time, the pass percentage of class 12 was the lowest. JKBOSE is trying to analyze the reason behind it and the board will work on it soon.

In the current year, 69,982 students appeared for the board exams and 36,227 candidates qualified.

In 2017, the pass percentage was recorded as 61.44%. Last year, the overall pass percentage was decreased 14%. The total number of appeared students were 69,982 and 36,227 candidates were succeeded to pass the exams.

Talking about the pass percentage of 2016 then it was around 75.47%. The standard record about the enrolled students was 53,159 and 40,119 students were qualified.

In 2015 session, the result of class 12 was 57.19%. The number of candidates who took part in the examinations was 51,908 out of which 29,684 were passed.

The Kashmir Division recorded 55.18 pass percentage in 2014 session. In that session, 29,109 passed the exam while 52,751 students appeared for it. In 2013, the overall pass percentage was recorded as 52.08%. In that year, around 51,391 students took part in the examinations while 26,763 qualified the exams.

In 2012, the students who appeared for the examinations were 49,956. Out of which 29,460 passed the exams. The overall pass percentage was 58.97%. Considering the statistics of 2011, around 49,956 appeared out of which 29,460 got qualified while the total pass percentage was  58.97%. For 2010 session exams, 52,125 enrolled in the examinations and 28,932 were passed. The board noticed 55.51% pass percentage in that particular session.

On January 21, 2010, JKBOSE announced the class 12 result for 2009 session. In that session, the overall pass percentage was 55.10% and the total qualified candidates were 25,546 while the total enrolled students were 46,367.

At last, considering the result statistics for the 2008 session, the overall pass percentage was 53.50%. The candidates who took part in the board examinations were 43,183. Out of the total candidates, around 23,102 candidates qualified the examination.

However, the board is seeking for the improvement in the result. For this, JKBOSE is trying to analyze the reason and try to upgrade the statistics.

Now, the students are searching for the result of Class 11 Kashmir Division Winter Zone 2018. As per the latest reports, the result is expected to be announced soon. The candidates will get the result online on the official website i.e. on jkbose.ac.in. To search for Class 11 Kashmir Result 2018, the students are required to submit the roll number or the name of the students. There are some other third party websites which also declares JKBOSE result such as indiaresults.com. The process to find the result is the same.
