The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is all set to conduct the class 10 Mathematics Standard (041) examination tomorrow, i.e. May 05, 2022. Along with the Standard paper, the Mathematics Basic exam is also going to be held tomorrow. With whatever time is left for the exam, students should gear up with their preparation. Note that the exam will be held for two hours starting from 10:30 AM and ending at 12:30 PM.
At this point, experts only suggest that the students should go through the sample papers and previous years’ question papers. However, after solving them, one should crosscheck the answers with the solutions that are released by educators and coaching centres. CBSE has already published the sample paper on its academic website – cbseacademic.nic.in. The sample paper is a replica of the question paper which gives students an idea about how the structure and pattern of the actual question paper will be.

Exam Pattern
The question paper will have questions for a total of 40 marks. However, there will be three sections namely A, B and C. While Section A comprises 6 questions, Section B and C will have 4 questions each. Similarly, the marks allotted to the questions in each section will also differ. Compared to Mathematics Basic, the Standard paper has a higher level of difficulty.
As such, candidates are required to practice more. To enhance their preparation, it is advised to go through the previous year’s question papers. Even if the question paper pattern may be different, students will get an idea about what type of questions they can expect in the exam. The direct links to the previous year’s question papers have been attached below.
