CBSE and CISCE were the two national level boards that introduced the two term / semester system this year, and held the first term / first semester exams a while back. Ever since, multiple issues have come to light. While the results were reportedly supposed to be out by mid of January, the month has ended with no word from the officials on when the results may be announced.
When will CBSE, CISCE declare CBSE Term 1, ICSE 10th and ISC 12th Semester 1 result 2021 – 2022?
The biggest question of the hour that has been baffling students, teachers and guardians is when the board exam results will be declared.
In the last few days, the confusion has increased manifold, with multiple reports claiming a new result date everyday. In the middle of the drama, perpetrators further add to the confusion by releasing fake news – recently, a fake news circulated about CBSE result date that took the social media by storm.
Reports claim a new result date everyday
News reports are galore about a new result date everyday. It has become confusing for students to separate the clickbait from the authentic. Just like the boy who cried wolf, many feel that now if a report even gives the right date, they will not be able to believe it until the boards release the notice on their official website.
Efforts still continue to find out the ‘authentic’ from chaos. We have also contacted officials several times, and are always met with the answer ‘see official website’.
CBSE Term 1 Results in February?
Again, various reports citing official sources have stated that the term 1 results of the CBSE board exams will be available by February 01, 2022. This is still just a tentative timeline since no official notification has been released by CBSE yet.
However, this is why result should be out in February – The term 2 exam are supposed to be held in March and April. If CBSE indeed wishes to declare the results before term 2 exam, then they should declare the results in February. Nevertheless whether the exact date is February 1 or not is not ascertained.
Students have taken to Twitter and reported the confusion that was surrounding the uncertainty of the results. Many of them have even expressed their concerns over why the results should not be released now. They speculate that it would hamper their preparation for the upcoming term 2 examinations.
CISCE Semester 1 Results
The scenario for the semester 1 results of ICSE and ISC is no different. It was initially expected that CISCE would release the results for both classes 10 and 12 on January 15, 2022. However, more than two weeks had passed by without any update regarding the results. Moreover, online tweets further suggest that the results will be available by the upcoming week. Needless to mention, this duration is just based on reports that are now circulating.
When people have tried to reach out to the helpline numbers, they failed to provide any clarity on the result date. However, as per their suggestions, students should keep an eye on the official website to get all official updates. The primary concern of the students is the incomplete syllabus for the upcoming semester 2 examinations. They are now of the opinion that offline exams should not be held if offline classes are not conducted. However, given the present COVID-19 situation in the country, they seem to have lost hopes over offline classes and are hence demanding exam cancellation.
