Central Board of Secondary Education has put to rest several speculations, finally confirming that Class 12 result is being announced on May 26, 2018. As per reports, time of result announcement is looked forward to be near 12 noon. This year students were worried about delay in results because there was one re-exam (of Economics paper). However, the board is announcing result even earlier than last time; last year class 12 results were announced on May 28.

CBSE 12th Result 2018 is announced in online mode. The official website of result announcement is cbseresults.nic.in. Other than that, students can also access it at results.gov.in. An interesting change this year is that CBSE Class 12 Result 2018 will also be announced on Google and Microsoft platforms.

On Google’s search engine, if you type CBSE 12 Result 2018, then you will get a window directly on the search page to type in your roll number and date of birth to check result. It is like checking a flight status or weather. Seamlessly integrated on the Google search engine, this has happened as a result of partnership between Google and CBSE. A big advantage of this will be that it will significantly reduce server load on CBSE / NIC servers. Students will also not have to endure tensed waiting moments in case CBSE servers crash.

Microsoft’s SMS Organizer app has partnered with CBSE. Students can download this app on Android and install it. After that they have to fill in roll number, school code, date of birth to do registration. Then they will get CBSE 12th Result 2018 directly via SMS even without internet connection. This is therefore useful for all students who wish to avoid continuously having to refresh their internet to check result. By this, they can check CBSE Class 12 Result 2018 by SMS without any hassles.

Anxiously refreshing your browser to get your CBSE Class 10 or Class 12 results? Stop! Get your results delivered to your SMS Organizer inbox as soon as they are announced, even when you are offline. https://t.co/UxGkXVHSHY pic.twitter.com/c4zhOolMry

Conventional mode of checking result is simply going to cbseresults.nic.in, clicking on result link, then logging in to check it. Once done, candidates can download the score card / marksheet. This can be done using a computer, laptop, mobile phone; anything with internet access and browser.

For class 12 exams, number of students who have registered was 11,86,306. They appeared for exams at 4,453 centres across the country. 71 Centres were outside India also. All class 12 students belonging to Arts / Humanities, Science, Commerce can check result from May 26, 2018 onwards.

Whereas the link to check result remains active for quite a long time, even after it is deactivated, students can login to DigiLocker, which is a Govt of India initiative, to check their result and download certificates. Students can download digital certificates of CBSE examinations from cbse.digilocker.gov.in.

CBSE had conducted Class 12 exams from March 3 to April 13, and then later a re-exam was held on April 25. The board has been ensuring students for some time that it will not delay results. Staying true to its words, it is declaring results on May 26.

After declaring class 12 results, CBSE 10th Result 2018 will not be far behind. Last year CBSE had announced class 10 result on June 3. Since CBSE class 12 result 2018 is releasing a little early, so class 10 result may also be announced early.

Best wishes to all students for their results. Remember, that this is not the end of the journey, it is beginning of another. Your marks are important, but not more than your self-worth. If you score well, then heartiest congratulations. However if you do not, even then do not panic. There are beautiful roads waiting for you ahead in your life.
