CBSE 12th Compartment Result 2018 Announced; Know How to Check

Central Board of Secondary Education has released CBSE 12th Compartment Result 2018. The result has been announced today i.e. on August 07, 2018 at 3:00 PM. The compartment exams were held from June 12, 2018. Around 2 lakh candidates of class 10 and class 12 had enrolled for the compartment exams. Out of which 91,818 students (8.3%)  got the compartment for class 12 and now, the students can check their compartment results.

To check CBSE 12th Compartment Result 2018, the students can log on to the official website of CBSE. On the homepage, click the link of the class 12 compartment result for 2018 session. After that, a new window will be opened. On that window submit your roll number, school number and centre number (as specified in the admit card). Now, the candidates will be able to see their compartment results.

CBSE 12th Result 2018 for the March exams was declared on May 26, 2018, at 12:30 PM. Around 11. 86 lakh candidates registered for the main exams this year. The overall pass percentage was 83.33% which was about 1% higher than the last year. Considering the performances of the candidates gender wise then it was clear that the girls outshined the boys by obtaining 83.31 pass percentage while the boys were around 10% less which was 78.99%.

Talking about the toppers of this year, Meghna Srivastava coming from Step by Step school of Ghaziabad topped the country. She was from an Arts background and gained 499 marks out of 500.

Comparing the analytics from 2017 then it came to know that a total of 10,98,420 candidates registered for CBSE board exams for class 12 last year. Out of the total enrolled candidates in the examinations, around 82% got passed. The difference between the girls and boys was almost the same in 2016. The pass percentage of the girls was around 87.50% and the boys managed to obtain 78% pass percentage.

Now, the candidates of class 10 are waiting for the compartment results. Although there is no confirmation available from the board regarding the results but according to the latest news, CBSE 10th Compartment Result 2018 may be declared on August 20, 2018.

Central Board of Secondary Education popularly knows as CBSE came into existence on November 3, 1962. The board conducts examination for Class 10th and 12th level. Along with the class 10 and 12, the board also manages to conduct various entrance exams such as National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET), Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET), Joint Engineering Entrance (JEE) etc. CBSE is controlled and managed by the Union Government of India. Various public and private schools are affiliated to the board in India and foreign countries. The schools affiliated to CBSE follows the NCERT curriculum.
