Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has today, April 27, 2022, successfully conducted the CBSE Class 10 Semester 2 examination for the English (Language & Literature) subject. The paper was held for a duration of 2 hours, from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm. The exam was held at affiliated schools across the country. Unlike the Semester 1 exam which was entirely objective in nature, the Semester 2 exam comprised both objective and subjective questions. CBSE is expected to release the official answer key for today’s semester 2 exam.

How to calculate tentative score?
When CBSE conducted the Class 10 semester 1 exams in December 2021, students could easily calculate their scores, thereafter. The reason being that the paper was entirely objective in nature, comprising multiple-choice questions. The situation in semester 2 is, however, different as today’s paper contained a combination of objective and subjective questions.
Although objective questions have straightforward questions, subjective questions depend on the points covered. Each such answer needs to cover the essential points invariably, fetching full marks. Furthermore, in a subject like English, the ability to form proper sentences, grammar usage, etc will also be considered.

CBSE Semester 2 Schedule 2022
CBSE Class 10 semester 2 exams began yesterday, April 26, 2022, with the second exam held today. As per the official schedule for CBSE Term 2 uploaded on cbse.nic.in, Class 10 board exams shall continue till Monday, May 24, 2022, with the last paper being Information Technology. Tomorrow, April 28, 2022, the central education board will be conducting the exam for Retailing, Security, Automotive, Introduction to Fin. Market, Introduction to Tourism, beauty & Wellness, Agriculture, and various other secondary subjects.
