The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has conducted the CBSE class 10 term 2 English Language and Literature paper today – April 27, 2022, from 10.30 am to 12.30 pm at various centers. The CBSE class 10 examination will be concluded on May 24. The question paper and answer key of the CBSE class 10 term 2 English Language and Literature paper will be available on the official website after the conclusion of the whole class 10 term 2 examinations. CBSE Class 10 English – Exam Analysis
The CBSE class 10 term 2 English Language and Literature paper was conducted for 40 marks. The question paper was divided into three sections. Section A was the reading comprehension section which had two passages that had five questions each. The total marks for section A was 10 marks. Section B was on writing and grammar, which had 3 questions for a total of 10 marks. Section C was from literature which had questions for a total of 20 marks. The third section was divided into 2 sections with the first part containing 7 questions. Students had to attend to any six questions from the 7.
Students had to attend to any one question from the two alternatives given in part two of section C. According to the students who attended the exam, the difficulty level of the examination was easy to moderate. Some students reported that the comprehension section was time-taking and has confusing options. The literature section was lengthy but doable. Moreover, grammar was easy and well-prepared students could write the answers with no difficulty.
