IIM Ahmedabad will declare the CAT result 2021 by January 3, 2022, said the officials / representatives at the exam helpline. As per past year result date trends, the result of Common Admission Test was anticipated to be declared today. Once compiled and published, MBA aspirants across the country will be able to check their results at iimcat.ac.in.
The uncertainty over the results for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2021 now seems to be over. As per the latest update, straight from the horse’s mouth if the idiom may so be used, the results are going to be declared on January 03, 2022. The MBA entrance exam was held on November 28, 2021.
CAT Result 2021 – Date – Official data, Predictions, and Latest Update
CAT 2021 is one of the few important MBA entrance exams. It was held on November 28, 2021. As per the official documents, the result is supposed to be declared in 2nd week of January 2022.
However, as per an analysis of the data of past year result dates, it was/is predicted that the result should be declared today ie. And hence, since morning of the New Year, candidates have been refreshing iimcat.ac.in, in hopes of getting the results early. Nevertheless, there have been no updates on the official website till now.
The official helpline of IIM CAT 2021 is 18002101088. Eager to know whether the CAT results will indeed be out today, and if yes then the time, the helpline was contacted a short while back. Where the representatives informed that the CAT 2021 result will be declared on January 3, 2022. Candidates will be able to download their scorecards from iimcat.ac.in via their user ID and password.
While the new date gives candidates two more days of breathing space / anxious times, candidates are advised to keep an eye on the official website to get any further updates. There is still a small chance that result gets announced sooner, rather than later.
CAT 2021 Statistics
At this point, nearly 1.92 lakh candidates are awaiting their CAT results which have now been postponed. Out of the total number of candidates who have appeared for CAT 2021, 35% of them were females while 65% were males. A total of 2.30 lakh candidates had registered for the exam. However, the attendance was seen to be only 83%.
After the CAT 2021 result is declared, the shortlisted candidates will be called for the next round of selection, details of which will be available on the official website of the IIMs. The other remaining rounds will follow group discussions, personal interviews, etc. Hence, candidates should keep an eye on the respective websites as well.
