IIM Ahmedabad conducted the CAT 2021 examination yesterday, November 28, 2021. The entrance test for Management was held in three slots. As per top educators and students, the level of the examination this year can be scaled to fall between moderate to difficult level.
However, one of the most significant questions hovering in the minds of the candidates is when would the CAT 2021 result be declared.
The CAT exam 2021 result date is most likely to be January 1, 2022. This is because in the past three years, CAT results have been announced on the first Saturday of the month of January. Last year the result was announced on Saturday Jan 2, and the year before on Saturday Jan 4. Besides, it also fits the criteria of the usual gap between CAT 2021 exam date and result dates.
The information bulletin released by the convenors has notified that the result for the entrance tests shall be released in the second week of January 2022. However the same (that result will be out in second week of Jan) is mentioned in each year’s brochure, but still results are announced in first week.

Amongst all the sections, VARC emerged as the easiest section whereas candidates faced a little difficulty in solving questions from the DILR and Quantitative Ability section. As of now, the answer key for all the three slots of the CAT 2021 exam has been published by top educators and coaching institutes.
Along with this, several reputed coaching classes and websites have released the CAT percentile predictor tool that can be used to predict raw percentile scores based on projected marks.
All those who qualify the minimum percentile projected by top IIMs will be called to appear in the WAT/PI round conducted by top IIM colleges. As per leading reports, it is highly anticipated that the same will commence in February-March 2022. Post that, candidates will be provided admission to the chosen colleges based on seat availability.
