Cabinet Secretariat Recruitment 2020 Notification Released for Pilot and Related Posts

Cabinet Secretariat Recruitment 2020 notification out for chief pilot, senior pilot, pilot, co-pilot posts with a total of 3 vacancies by deputation and 4 by re-employment; and chief navigator, senior navigator, navigator posts with a total of 4 vacancies by deputation. Apply by the last date by sending annexure I or II depending on the mode of recruitment.

Cabinet Secretariat is inviting the applications for various post on deputation and re-employment basis from the employees of central government. Eligible candidates can send their application in offline mode against a total of 11 vacant positions under central secretariat. The details about the vacancies and positions have been published in employment news.

7 vacancies are to be filled through deputation and 4 through re-employment. For the said vacancies, cabinet secretariat is recruiting for chief pilot, senior pilot, pilot, co-pilot, chief navigator, senior navigator and navigator. All the navigator related posts will be filled only through deputation with a total of 4 seats.

Though, it must be taken a note of, as clearly mentioned by the cabinet guidelines, that the announced vacancies are subjected to change. Based on the department requirement, it reserves the right to shortlist such candidates who are in direct conformity with the prescribed qualifications.

For the eligibility criteria, the basic requirement for applying for the various post of pilot and navigator is that a candidate must hold a analogous position in defense services. Along with this one must possess specific flying hours of experience according to the position. With this, cabinet secretariat has also specified the pay band under which an applicant must have served and years of services rendered while applying for the different posts announced for the recruitment.

Along with the services terms and conditions, one must also adhere to the age limit specification set by the cabinet. To apply for any of the posts, one must can be at max 56 years old as on the closing date of application form.

However, interested applicants must check all details from the notification before applying for this recruitment. Details regarding the requirement of each post, age limit, selection procedure, application process, allowances, place of posting and other recruitment guidelines are mentioned in the detailed advertisement released under the employment news paper.

The application form proforma is available along with the recruitment advertisement on the official website, cabsec.gov.in. One has to download the post or mode specific form. For instance, if a person is applying for a deputation post then he/she shall fill the form given under annexure 1 and on re-employment basis, one has to download annexure III. The filled in application form has to be sent through the proper channel.

As specified in the notification one has to send along vigilance clearance certificate, integrity certificate, certificate regarding major/minor penalty during last 10 years of service and attested copies of last 5 years ACR/APARs for deputation. The selected candidates shall be posted either in Delhi, Cuttack (Odisha), Assam, Sarsawa (UP) with all India transfer-ability applicable.
