BPSC 67th 2021 Notification Out, Vacancies Increased

This year, a total of 555 vacancies shall be filled under this recruitment drive with the maximum posts (133) belonging to the Rural Department.

BPSC 2021 Notification Released

Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) recently released the 67th Recruitment official notification for filling up vacancies under various posts. Interestingly, the commission has increased the total number of vacancies this year, as evident in the notification. In fact, the number of vacancies for Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) has increased to 133 under the current notification. Moreover, this recruitment drive is aiming to fill a total of 555 vacancies belonging to various governmental posts.

Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the BPSC 67th Notification 2021 recruitment drive from September 30, 2021, on the official website bpsc.bih.nic.in. They will have time up to November 05, 2021, to complete the application formalities. Those who have successfully submitted their application form can make changes in it on or before November 15, 2021. Beyond this, no editing facility will be provided by authorities.

As per the notification, vacancies under 16 departments have been specified for the upcoming recruitment drive. So far, the Rural Department comprises of the maximum number of vacancies i.e., 133. A total of 110 vacances have been introduced under the Urban Development Department while 88 have been covered under Administrative Services. Under the post of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe Welfare Officer, a total of 52 posts have been introduced for the recruitment.

# Panchayati Raj Department, Officer 18

# Superintendent of Labor Resources Department 02

#Fertilizer, Supply Inspector 4

# Bihar Administrative Service 88

# 14 Block Scheduled Castes, Tribes Welfare Officer 52

# Revenue and Land Reforms Department Revenue Officer 36

# Bihar Finance Service Raj Tax Assistant Commissioner 21

Looking at the official notification, it is clear that the number of vacancies has increased substantially compared to the initial figure of 300. With that being said, the competition is also bound to escalate. Around 4-5 lakh candidates are expected to apply for the state-level recruitment drive. They will have to go through the three-stage elaborate recruitment process to get inducted into various vacancies. These stages include – 1. Preliminary Examination, 2. Mains Examination and 3. Interview Stage. Candidates who cross all three stages will be allotted various posts on the basis of their cumulative scores, available vacancies and reservation.
