Bank of India Hiring 28 Sportsperson as Clerk & Officers, Apply Online @bankofindia.co.in

BOI is looking for eligible sportsperson as Clerk and General Banking Officer in JMGS-I Project No. 2020-21/1.

Bank of India invites online applications for the recruitment of sportsperson for Clerk and General Banking Officer posts in JMGS-I. The official notification with Project No. 2020-21/1 is available on the official website, bankofindia.co.in. BOI has announced a total of 28 vacancies for Officers and Clerks exclusively for the sportsperson. The online application can be submitted from August 01, 2020, onwards. The last date for the submission of application form is August 16, 2020.

Candidates who wish to apply for the announced post should ensure that they fulfil the eligibility norms as laid down by Bank of India. To apply for Officer (JMGS- I) in General Banking Stream, candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Those who have passed 10th standard are eligible for the post of Clerk. The minimum age limit for both the posts is 18 years as on July 01, 2020. However, candidates who have participated in Khelo India Sporting event, their minimum age limit for Clerk post of 20 years. The upper age limit for both the posts is 25 years. Up to 05 years of age relaxation is provided to SC/ST candidates and 03 years age relaxation to OBC (Non-creamy layer) candidates on the upper age limit.

The recruitment is especially for Sportsperson, so the conducting body has prescribed some sports qualification as well. To apply for Officer post, candidates must have participated in Sporting Event/ Championship under Category A, B and C. Those applying for Clerk post must have participated in Sporting Event/ Championship classified under Category D.

Aspirants interested in recruitment can submit their forms through bankofindia.co.in. The active link for application submission gets activated under career > Recruitment of Sportspersons – Project No. 2020-21/1 Notice dated 01.07.2020 as per schedule. SC/ST/PWD candidates have to make a payment of Rs. 50/- as intimation charges and General/ Others category candidates have to pay Rs. 200/- as the application fee. It can only be paid through the online process using the Master/ Visa Debit or Credit cards or Internet Banking.

The selection criteria for Officer includes the screening of application, interview and/or field trials. Candidate’s application is screened and eligible candidates invited for the interview round followed by field trials. To shortlist candidates for Clerk, screening of application and field trials is conducted. Aspirants have to carry a print out of the call letter, online application form in hard copy format, photo identity proof, educational qualification certificate and mark sheets, documents in support of their sports qualification, caste certificate, experience certification and other relevant documents as asked.
