Keeping in mind the requests from several candidates who are facing difficulties as the BITSAT 2021 exam dates were clashing with other entrance exams, the authorities have now introduced a new date only for these candidates. The examination for them will now be conducted on August 09, 2021 only at the selected centres. These candidates will have to apply for a change request by 9:30 AM on August 08, 2021.

To make a change request, candidates have to visit bitsadmission.com and click on the link to apply for a change request. The link is given right below the notice dated August 05, 2021. This will now take them to new window where they have to read the instruction carefully and then fill their personal details like application number and password followed by the captcha. Then, they have to click on the ‘Proceed’ button and finish the rest of the process.

Based on the preferences given by the students, the admission committee will schedule the examination. Candidates will get to know their revised examination centres at 11 AM on August 08, 2021. On the same day and time, the candidates will be able to download their admit cards. To download the admit cards, candidates have to visit bitsadmission.com. Then, they have to click on the link for downloading the revised admit cards and enter their login credentials like application number and password. After clicking on the ‘Proceed’ button, candidates will be able to view their admit cards. It is advised to connect their computers to a printer and take a printout of the admit cards for future references.

However, it is important to note that the candidates must have a genuine reason like clash of examination to make a change request. The admission committee, after looking into these requests, will only permit the genuine students to sit for the examination based on the revised schedule. Candidates have to select 3 preferences for the BITSAT 2021 revised examination. Out of the 3 preferences, 1 preference must either be the Pilani or Goa or Hyderabad campus. Nonetheless, there will be no guarantee that the student will get their first preference.

The Institute holds complete discretion to either accept or reject the change requests. It must be noted that the new allotted date and centre will be final and no further change will be entertained. This year, the BITSAT 2021 online tests were scheduled from August 03, 2021 to August 09, 2021. Despite the several requests regarding the clashing of dates by the students over social media sites like Twitter, the admission committee has decided a final date for conducting the exams only for the genuine students.
