BITS Pilani has started the facility for application form correction for BITSAT 2018. The candidates can now edit their BITSAT Application Form from March 15, 2018. The form is to be edited online at the official website of BITSAT, bitsadmission.com. However, the window for BITSAT 2018 Application Form Correction will be open for a limited period only.
The last date to edit the application form is March 19, 2018, till 05:00 PM. After this, the candidates will not be able to make any further changes/ modifications in the application.
To edit the BITSAT Application Form, visit the official website of BITSAT and click on the link for “Edit the BITSAT Application”. Next, enter login details such as Application Number, Gender, Date of Birth and Email ID. Submit the details by clicking on “Proceed” button and start editing the form.
Candidates have to make the necessary changes in the application form by online mode only. They should not send any email regarding this to the authorities. Ensure that the candidates enter only correct information in the application, as after the last date the candidates won’t be able to do any correction.
After that the application process is over, the candidates will be allotted a test center. The next process in line is slot booking. The candidates who have registered successfully for BITSAT must choose the preferred test date and slot as early as possible. The more the delay, less chances that the candidate may get lot as per their preference.
Choose the exam date and slot wisely and ensure that the chosen exam date for BITSAT 2018 is not clashing with any other entrance test.
Also, those candidates who made multiple payments for single application because of connection error will be refunded the deducted amount. For that, the candidates need to provide their bank details during March 15 to 20, 2018 online through the BITS admission website.
BITSAT is a Computer based online test which is taken by the students for admissions to Integrated First Degree Programmes of BITS Pilani Campuses in Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad. It is scheduled to be held from May 16 to 31, 2018.
It is a 3-hour duration test which comprises of MCQ questions from Physics, Chemistry, English Proficiency, Logical Reasoning, Mathematics or Biology (For B.Pharm candidates). Amongst the four options, the candidate need to select one correct option. For every correct answer, 03 marks will be awarded and there is a negative marking of 01 marks for every incorrect answer. The syllabus is as per NCERT textbooks of class 11th and 12th.
The best part about BITSAT is that the candidates don’t have to wait much for their result. After the test is completed, the computer will display the number of total correct answers and wrong answers, with the score of the candidate. Also the score report is displayed immediately the next day on BITSAT website.
