Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board conducts the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (BCECE). However, as per the latest notice on the website from 2019 the engineering admission in the state of Bihar will be based on the merit list of JEE Main 2019. Similarly for the medical admission candidates will hve to appear in NEET 2019

BCECEB has thus advised the candidates to participate in the JEE Main 2019 and NEET 2019 exam if they wish to take admission in engineering and medical colleges in the state of Bihar.

Earlier BCECEB has also announced that they will be conducting the BCECE 2019 exam in online mode from the year 2019 onwards. However, as per this latest notice, it remains uncertain that whether or not the exam will be conducted or is being cancelled.

What about those who didn’t apply for the JEE Main 2019 Exam?

Now, the JEE Main 2019 January Exam is going on. The registered candidaes are already attempting the exam in online mode. However, if BCECE 2019 is not conducted then the Bihar students who were waiting for BCECE 2019 and did not apply for JEE Main 2019 will be at loss.

However, there is still hope for such students as they can apply for the JEE Main 2019 the second attempt for which the registrations are starting from February 08, 2019.

The JEE Main 2019 Exam is being held over a period of 5 days – January 08, 09, 10, 11 and 12, 2019. Candidates are appearing for the first attempt all over the nation. Candidates who are appearing for the exam can also check their answer key and check their probable scores and know their chances of admission.

The medical aspirants will be appearing in the NEET 2019 exam that is to be held on May 05, 2019. NTA is conducting the exam in offline mode and once a year. Thus, candidates are to qualify in the NEET 2019 exam to be able to take admission in the medical colleges in the state of Bihar.

The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) is constituted under Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination. The Board conducts entrance and competitive examinations every year for admissions in various professional courses of Medical, Engineering and Agricultural streams. On the basis of their performance in the entrance examination conducted by the Board, the candidates are offered admission in the colleges in the State of Bihar.
