Bihar Board To Give Another Chance To Unsuccessful D.El.Ed Candidates; Apply Before Feb 20, 2019

Recently, the Chairman of the Bihar Board has confirmed that it will be giving a fair chance to all those candidates who flunked in the Bihar D.El.Ed  session- 2014-16, 2015-17 and 2016-18 or were not able to appear for the same due to some other reasons to apply along with 2019 session candidates on http://www.biharboard.online.

Earlier, the applications were invited till February 7, 2019 without late fee. And till February 11, 2019 with late fee. But, the extended date without late fee to submit D.El.Ed 2019 application is between February 16, 2019 to February 20, 2019. Whereas with late fee of Rs. 175 is between February 21 & 22, 2019. Candidates should be at least 17 years of age and should have secured a minimum of 50% in average in their Class 12 or equivalent level of exam.

Reserved category candidates are provided 5% exemption in their minimum qualifying marks criteria. Note that, there is no upper age limit specified to pursue this course. Eligible candidates need to select district, school/college, principal/headmaster user id, one time password/password and captcha code.

As per some of the newspaper sources, the application fee for the DLE exam 2019 is Rs.1300. Candidates are selected on the basis of the merit list released by the Bihar School Examination Board, as per the scores secured in Class 10 and 12 by a candidate. Entrance letters are issued to selected candidates and such candidates are further requested to appear for a round of interview. Bihar D. L. Ed examination is a state level exam conducted by the Bihar State Examination Board to provide a chance to all the deserving candidates to make their career in the teaching field.

Bihar School Examination Board was established to conduct examination in Secondary School level, along with certain departmental examinations like Diploma in Physical Education, Certificate in Physical Education and Teachers Training Examination, as per the norms of Bihar State Government. This is an offline exam of 100 marks, conducted for a duration of 3 hours. A candidate is required to attempt 2 papers of 70 and 30 marks, respectively, covering topics like childhood & socialization, schools & socialization, knowledge based exchanges of education and academic understanding of fundamental writing of education.
