International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Hyderabad has begun 2019 Admission for Undergraduate programme. There are a total of 6 modes to apply for Undergraduate Admission. The application process for Undergraduate Entrance Exam (UGEE) and Special Channel of Admission (SPEC) mode of Admission had started on February 11, 2019. The application form is available online at the website of IIIT Hyderabad, http://www.iiit.ac.in. The last date to apply for UGEE and SPEC is March 23, 2019.
The available mode of Undergraduate Admissions are Undergraduate Entrance Exam (UGEE), Special Channel of Admission (SPEC), Lateral Entry Entrance Exam (LEEE), Olympiad/KVPY, Direct Admission for Students Abroad (DASA), JEE (Main) Score).
Undergraduate Entrance Exam mode is for the admission to dual degree programme such as ECD, CSD, CLD, CND, CHD. This is 5 years programme. The graduate of dual degree programme earns two degrees Master and Bachelor.
SPEC is a special channel of admission for B.Tech programmes. The aim of this channel is to identify the students with extraordinary talent or background. The admission of the candidates is based on Computer-Based Entrance Exam and an interview.
The entrance exam and interview for UGEE and SPEC are conducted by IIIT Hyderabad.

Before filling the application form students have to register. The registration process can be done in a few simple steps. First of all, visit IIIT Hyderabad Admission website, http://www.ugadmissions.iiit.ac.in and select the mode of admission. Now refer the link “Click Here to Apply” and select the link available for new users registration. Enter the personal details with valid information and save the form.
A student is eligible to apply through UGEE mode if they have passed the class 12 or equivalent with an aggregate of 60% marks in Maths, Chemistry, and Physics.
The eligibility to apply for admission in Special Channel students must have passed the class 12 or equivalent with Maths, Physics, and Chemistry and must belong to one of the categories i.e Qualified for the UDAAN scheme of CBSE or is in an integrated six-year 12th + B.Tech programme after 10th class.
The application fee for UGEE is INR 2,000 and for SPEC is INR 750. The amount to be paid is non-refundable.

Before filling the application form students must click the link sent to the registered email id. Log In by providing the username and password. Select the Admission Mode. Enter the details carefully, upload all the necessary documents required, and finally make the payment.
According to the official of IIIT Hyderabad, the application process for UG Admission through Lateral Entry Entrance Exam Mode will start from next week.
