Bharat Heavy Electrical Limited, Haridwar has released a notification for a total of 281 vacancies of Trade Apprentice in the company. The online application for the BHEL Trade Apprentice has commenced from March 01 2021 and will continue till March 07 2021. The last date to submit the acknowledgement slip and important documents are March 15 2021. The names of the successful candidates are going to be declared on April 05 2021. The candidates who are selected as Weldor, Carpenter and Foundrymen will get Rs 7700 as a monthly stipend. While the candidates who get selected as Fitter, Turner, Machinist, Draftsman, Electrician etc will be eligible to get Rs 8050 on a monthly basis.
The candidates who wish to apply for the BHEL recruitment have to start with Online Registration. The candidates need to visit apprenticeshipindia.org and register themselves. In the next step, the candidates have to apply online on the website of BHEL Haridwar. Post this, the candidate is required to enter their personal details i.e. Name, Date of Birth, Parent’s name, Caste, HighSchool marks, Marks scored in the ITI examination etc. Furthermore, the candidates have to upload their scanned image along with a scanned copy of the ITI Marksheet, class 10th marksheet, domicile certificate, Adhaar Card etc.
The size of the scanned image should not exceed 30 kb while the scanned copies of other documents should not be more than 500 kb. The next step involves downloading the acknowledgement slip from the official website of BHEL. Finally, the candidates need to put the acknowledgement slip along with copies of the important documents in an envelope with the name, “Application for Trade Apprentice Training for April 2021” and send it to, “ Senior Manager, Room No. 29, Ground floor, Manav Sansadhan Vibhag, Mukhya Prashasnik Bhawan, B.H.E.L., Heep, Ranipur, Haridwar, (Uttarakhand)- 249403.
As per the eligibility criteria, the unreserved candidates should be within the age limit of 18 to 27 years. The candidates who belong to the OBC and SC/ST category will get age relaxation of 3 years and 5 years respectively in the upper age limit. While the candidates who are visually impaired will get an age relaxation of 10 years. The candidates must have completed their High School from an institution recognised by the government. In addition to this, the candidates who have completed ITI from NCVT from the years 2018 to 2021 will be preferred.
The selection process of BHEL Trade Apprentice is completely based on Merit. The company will give 70% weightage to the ITI marks while 30% to the marks scored in High School. The company will derive a merit list on the basis of the average aggregate marks of the candidates. In case of a tie, the senior candidate will be preferred.
