Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot has announced the tentative exam dates for the recruitment of eligible candidates to various paramedical posts. The University hereafter referred to as BFUHS, has published an official notice in this regard at the official website bfuhs.ac.in. The notice, dated August 03, 2020, has been published to intimate the dates of written text for recruitment into various paramedical posts under the Government of Punjab, Department of Medical Education and Research, and Dr. Ambedkar State Institute of Medical Sciences, Mohali. As per the notice, the written tests are to be conducted on August 14, August 21, and August 26, 2020.
BFUHS, Faridkot has published the official notice announcing the exam dates in reference to the advertisement that was published earlier in leading newspapers such as The Tribune, Ajit Punjabi dated February, 27, 2020. The advertisement was earlier released in regards to the recruitment of selected eligible candidates to fill up various para medical posts under the Punjab Government, Department of Medical Education and Research and Dr Ambedkar State Institute of Medical Sciences, Mohali. The written exam for recruitment to the various para medical positions could not be conducted in the backdrop of the COVID-19 situations in India which led to various restrictions imposed by the Government.
The examination for recruitment to the posts of Lab Assistant, Perfusionist. Dialysis Technician, Health Visitor, Electrician Gr I, Plumber and Carpenter is scheduled to be conducted tentatively on August 14, 2020. On the other hand, the written exam for the selection of eligible applicants to fill up the posts of Ophthalmic Officer/Optometrist, Assistant Librarian, Plaster Cutter and Operator Theatre Assistant is tentatively scheduled to be conducted on August 21, 2020. The written exam for selection of candidates for recruitment to the posts of Hostel Warden, Medical/Psychiatric Social Worker, Audiometry Technician/Audiologist, Diet Supervisor, Speech Therapist and CSSD Assistant is tentatively scheduled to be conducted on August 26, 2020.
The University is all set to conduct the exams as per the tentative dates announced in compliance to all and any protocol currently being enforced as a measure to contain the spread of the deadly virus. The decision has been taken as the State Government of Punjab and India Government has removed various restrictions on lockdown in certain regions where the written test for the recruitment are to be conducted.
The University has also announced specific guidelines for compliance by the applicants. Admit Card cum Roll Number Slip can be downloaded from the official website on information released by the University through SMS at the registered mobile number.
