Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has issued a latest recruitment notification to fill up 10 vacancies at Machilipatnam Unit. BEL is inviting suitably qualified candidates to apply for recruitment of Trainee Engineers. A detailed advertisement is available in this regard at the official website bel-india.in. The vacancies are to be filled up on a contractual basis only. Interested candidates can apply online at the official website on or before February 27, 2021 by paying the application fee.
The 10 contractual vacancies are for the posts of Trainee Engineer in Electronics and Mechanical divisions of the Machilipatnam Unit of BEL. Five vacancies are available for the post of Trainee Engineer (Electronics)-I and five for the post of Trainee Engineer (Mechanical)-I. Selected candidates are entitled to receive an initial monthly salary of Rs 25000 after the appointment. During the second year, the salary is to be increased to Rs 28000 per month and to Rs 31000 per month during the third year. In addition to this, candidates are also given allowances worth Rs 10000 in two instalments after joining.

Indian candidates who are within the maximum age of 25 years as on January 01, 2021 can apply for this recruitment. Applicants must also have minimum post qualification experience in a relevant field for a period of at least one year.
Certain minimum educational qualification related eligibility criteria are also laid down by BEL. Applicants must have completed a BE/B.Tech/B.Sc Engineering degree course from any recognized institute in a specified discipline. Furthermore, General & EWS candidates must have passed with a First Class degree while reserved category candidates must have passed with a Pass Class degree.
The selection of the eligible applicants is to be done on the basis of merit only. Merit for preparation of the final shortlist of candidates is to be determined on two factors. The percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying degree examination and experience. 75 marks is carried by educational qualification while 10 marks are carried by experience. Shortlisted candidates have to appear in an online interview for final selection. The interview carries 15 marks. BEL will release the final results at the website and send appointment order to selected candidates through email.
An application fee of Rs 200 be paid by Unreserved candidates. SC/ST and PWD candidates are exempted from the payment of fee. Interested candidates have to apply online at the BEL India website only.
