Broadcast Engineering Consultants India Limited (BECIL) is looking for candidates to fill up the vacant posts of Senior Programmer/ Senior Software Developer and Programmer. Vacancy notice for the same has been published with Employment Notice no. BECIL/CATV/IT/2020/01 on becil.com. In total 09 vacancies are announced for BECIL recruitment. Interested and eligible candidates are encouraged to apply for the said posts before the last date i.e September 22, 2020.
The aforementioned posts of Senior Programmer and Programmer are purely on contractual basis for the project of Registrar of Newspapers for India (RNI), Directorate of Publication Division (DPD) and Ministry of Information & Broadcasting (MIB). The contract period will be for one year which may get extended depending on the requirement of the project.
Out of the total announced vacancy, 05 are advertised for Senior Programmer/ Senior Software Developer and 04 are for Programmer. The number of vacancies is subject to the requirement of the Project and may or not may increase in future.
For the eligibility, candidates must have B. Tech or MCA educational qualification to apply for Senior Programmer post. They should have minimum 03 years of experience as a developer. Those who have BCA or MCA or B. Tech are eligible for Programmer post. At least 01 year work experience is required to apply for Programmer post.
The applications for the vacant posts are accepted only through the offline procedure. Applicants can obtain the application form from the BECIL’s Corporate Office: C-56, A/17, Sector-62, Noida-201307 (U.P.) or from the website, becil.com. They can get the downloadable link under the registration form (offline apply) section. Applicants are advised to apply for the posts with proper details such as correct mobile number, email address, postal address, qualification, experience, etc. Candidates also have to pay a non-refundable applications fee for the registration. General/ OBC candidates have to pay Rs. 500/- and SC/ST/PH candidates have to pay Rs. 250/- as the fee.
Application forms and documents should be submitted in hand or through the registered post to General Manager (Radio) at BECIL’s Corporate Office. While submitting the form, they also have to mark the envelope as “Application for the post of <Name of The Post> for RNI, DPD & MIB“. Due to COVID-19 pandemic, BECIL has asked candidates to also submit their form to [email protected] with relevant scanned documents.
Selection of candidates includes the application and CV evaluation, document verification and interview. After the screening of the applications, candidates are called for the DV and interview round.
