BECIL is inviting applications from ITI pass and 8th pass candidates for training and placement on a contractual basis in various Electricity Distribution Substations of Uttar Pradesh with assured minimum wages of the Government of UP. Candidates having an ITI Certificate in Electrical or Wireman from NCVT recognized institute or higher technical degree/diploma in Engineering, TG-2 or possessing Overhead Certificate for Electrical Safety are eligible for trade training of Basic Concept plus the use of Personal Protective Equipment, Basic Knowledge of Electrical equipment of 33/11 KV substation and safety measures and Basic knowledge of Electrical equipment of 33/11 KV Substation and use of Personal Protective Equipment (Safety measures).
8th pass candidates from any state education board with atleast one year experience in the electrical stream are eligible to apply for the training of Basic knowledge of Electrical equipment of 33/11 KV Substation and use of Personal Protective Equipment (Safety measures). Skilled candidates are required to have reading and writing skills in the English and Hindi language. Unskilled candidates are required to have reading & writing skills in Hindi and at least reading skill in English. The training is to be conducted for at Jaunpur Basti, Meerut, Bulandshahar Noida.
Candidates deployed to Basic knowledge of Electrical equipment of 33/11 KV Substation and use of Personal Protective Equipment (Safety measures) training are eligible for a monthly stipend. Selection of candidates will be done through Merit Test which includes written exam/group discussion or PowerPoint Presentation about Electrical Distribution Lines/Sub-Stations. Candidates who qualify the Merit test will have to pay the training course fee as specified by BECIL. Applicants who have experience in 33/11 KV will be deployed to direct training without Merit test. Inexperienced candidates who secure 80% are eligible for free training. Candidates who secure 70% have to pay training cost of Rs 6000. Those who secure at least 50% will have to pay Rs 11,000. Those who secure at least 35% are eligible for paid training of Rs 15000 and eligible for a stipend during 15 days of onsite training.
