The University of Delhi is expected to announce DU first cut off on October 10, 2020. As per the official notice, released by DU, the first cut off is to be released on October 12, 2020. However, latest news reports suggest that it will be available 2 days earlier that the due date. The early release of the cut off will provide students ample time to select the correct course and college.
First, more than 90+ colleges under DU will announce its course wise DU cut off online, on the individual official website. Later, on the same day, Delhi University will release the consolidated cut off. Students will be able to check the cut off category wise, for each course.
It is also expected that due to the pandemic, the entire process for DU admission 2020 will be done online. Until now, students had to visit the University in person for document verification. However, this year, the verification facility might also be provided online. DU will release the complete guidelines soon.
In view of the challenges brought about by Covid-19, any change in the procedures for personal appearance of applicants for entrance examinations/trials for ECA,Sports and Music, as well as for verification of certificates shall be notified in due course by the University of Delhi on its website. Applicants are advised to monitor the same and act as directed.

Dean of Delhi University, Shobha Bagai, also told media that the University will holding a webinar soon. It will be held for aspirants, to held them understand how the cut off is calculate, how to select course, operate dashboard, etc.
Admission against the first cut off will remain open until October 14 and the last date to pay the fee will be October 16, 2020. DU will release the second cut off on October 19, 2020. So far, the dates for DU 3rd, 4th, and 5th cut off are October 26, November 02, and November 09, 2020. Whether DU will hold more round of admission or not will be revealed in due course of time.
DU admission 2020 is done on the basis of entrance exam and merit. The entrance exam is held by NTA and is called as DUET. The DUET 2020 has been held and the result for it due to be announced on October 19, 2020. Merit based admission is done based on the cut off for each college. Best of 4 score is considered for admission in more than 500+ courses.
