Bank of Maharashtra Recruitment 2019, Apply online for Generalist Officer, Last date 31 Dec

Apply for 200 vacancies of SO scale II and 100 seats for SO scale III, online. The last date to apply online is 31 Dec.

Bank of Maharashtra Recruitment

Bank of Maharashtra in the released notice under employment news has announced the vacancies for the post of generalist officer in scale II and III. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online against a total of 300 vacant positions for generalist officer. The last date upto which bank of Maharashtra is accepting the online applicaton of the applicants is December 31, 2019.

Under scale II bank is recruiting for 200 vacancies of generalist officer, out of which considerig the reservation for the reserved category, the banks has in total 30 seats reserved for SC, 15 for ST, 54 for OBC, 20 for EWS and 81 for UR. Similarly, the other 100 seats have to be filled for the post of generalist officer of scale III, which are furthermore segregated as 15 seats for SC, 7 for ST, 27 for OBC, 10 for EWS and 41for UR. As per the publication, there are seats reserved for the persons with disabilities suffering from disabilities like LD, VI, HI and d&e. On said note there are 8 seats reserved for the scale II post and for scale III, the number of seats reserved in bank are 4.

For stating the eligiblity of the candidates, Bank of Maharashtra has specified the educational qualification and age limit specification. For both posts, candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in a specified discipline with a knowledge of computer, with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate. Along with this, one must have passed JAIIB and CAIIB. For the same, bank also requires that a candidate must hold a profession degree like an MBA in finance, CA, ICWA, CFA, FRM from a recognized university or institution by the government of India.

Along with this, the post also demands a 2 years of post qualification work experience if applying for generalist officer in scale II and 5 years of work experience, if someone is desired to apply for the post of generalist officer scale III.

One also has to adhere with the age limit bar to stand eligible to apply for the posts under bank of maharashtra. As mentioned in the recruitment advertisement, age limit for scale II generalist officer, candidate must lie in the age group of 20 to 35 years of age. And the same for scale III generalist officer is 20 to 38 years. However, as per the relaxation policy, reserved category candidates upper age will be relaxed by certain years as applicable as per government guidelines. Following the recruitment conditons, the eligibility criteria will be reckoned as on April 1, 2019.

The application form for the bank of maharashtra recruitment 2019 are available on the official website. The application process includes visiting bankofmaharashtra.in ->> clicking on career tab on top of the website ->> Putting a cursor over recruitment process and click on current opening ->> Selecting the recruitment link and clicking on apply now actionable link.

The selection procedure of bank consists of a written examination and an interview. The pattern of the exam is that it will be conatining 150 objective type of questions from 4 different sections namely, english language, quantitative aptitude, reasoning ability and professional knowledge. The total duartion of the exam will be 2 hours for a 150 marks question paper. For getting a call for an interview, unreserved, EWS and OBC candidates have to secure at least 50% marks and 45% by SC, ST and PWD candidates in written examination.

The selected candidates have to sign a bond as for serving 1 year of probation period. According to the pay decided by the bank, the officials selected under scale II will get a monthly salary of Rs. 31705 and Rs. 42020 if selected for scale III generalist officer.
