Bank of Baroda is inviting applications from eligible candidates for the post of Business Correspondent Supervisor. This recruitment is exclusively for the various district of Gujarat. Total 15 vacancies are announced for the recruitment. Applications are invited from ex-bankers and graduates degree holders. Applications are invited for Bhavnagar, Surendranagar, Botad, Bhuj, Jamnagar, Dev Bhoomi Dwarka, Porbandar, Junagadh, Gir – Somnath, Amreli, Rajkot and Morbi districts. Those who are shortlisted under category Supervisors receive Rs. 15,000 + Rs. 10,000 variable component. Category B candidates get Rs, 12,000 plus Rs. 8,000/- as monthly salary.
Candidates who are ex-bankers in any PSU up to the rank of Chief Manager, retired clerks can submit their applications for the announced post. Retired clerks must have cleared JAIIB exam with good rank. They must have minimum 03 years of work experience in rural banking. Graduate in any discipline can also apply for the post. They must have computer knowledge such as MS Office, email, interview and others. However, those who have M. Sc. (IT)/ BE (IT)/ MCA/MBA are given preference. Their age must be between the age range of 21 years to 45 years at the time of appointment. Moreover, they must know the Gujarati language and the local language of the district.
Application procedure for this recruitment is conducted through offline mode. Aspirants have to visit the official website (bankofbaroda.in) to download the application form. Candidates are asked to mark their preference of district for working in the form. The filled-in application form should be submitted to the regional office of the particular district as provided in the notification. The envelope in which aspirants are submitting their forms should be superscribed with “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF BUSINESS CORRESPONDENT SUPERVISOR ON CONTRACTUAL BASIS”. Along with the applications form, candidates have to submit a copy of aadhar card and PAN card, document with current address, 10th, 12th, graduation and post-graduation certificate, and employment proof in the previous organization if applicable.
The selection of candidates for Business Correspondent Supervisor is done through an interview round. This round is organized by the Regional Head. As per the eligibility, vacancies and recommendations of the committee, candidates are shortlisted for the announced post. After selection, they are appointed on a temporary basis for 12 months. However, this period may get extended based on their performance and review conducted after 06 months.
