SSA Assam (Axom Sarba Shiksha Abhiyan) has released the Assam Special TET (Teacher Eligibility Test) 2021 admit card on the website – sebaonline.org. The candidates, who have applied for this exam, can download their admit card for the same. The special TET exam, which is scheduled on October 03, 2021, is going to be held at 21 test centres across the state.
According to the exam pattern, the examination is going to be held in offline mode viz. pen and paper mode. The written test has 150 questions accounting for 150 marks from five subjects viz. child development and pedagogy, language – I, language-II, English, environmental science and mathematics. The candidates will get 2 hours and 30 minutes to complete the test and 1 mark will be awarded for each correct answer. There is no prescribed negative marking applicable for any wrong answer.
Upon successfully qualifying for the exam, SSB Assam awards TET certificates to candidates under the Lower Primary category. This makes them eligible to apply against any lower primary teacher vacancies notified in the state.
The candidates can follow the steps mentioned below to download the Assam Special TET admit card 2021:
Step 1: Visit the official website of SSB Assam, sebaonline.org
Step 2: Click on the Special TET for Lower Primary admit card link available on the quick link section on the left side of the page
Step 3: Enter the unique ID and password as per the application form and hit the login button
Step 4: Go through the admit card on the next page thoroughly and save a copy of the same for future reference
The candidates should cross-check the details mentioned on the admit card vigilantly. In case, any error or spelling mistake is found, then they must report the same to the concerned authorities on 08472880277 or 1800-212-005599 for rectification. As per the instructions mentioned, the candidates have to carry the admit card, along with two copies of valid ID proof on the day of the exam.
In case the candidate loses his/her password, then he/she can retrieve the same by clicking the ‘Forgot Password’ button available on the login page. On the next page, they need to enter the unique ID, followed by the registered mobile number, and then further click on the ‘Retrieve Password’ button. The authorities will send the password through SMS, which the candidates can use to login and download the Assam Special TET 2021 admit card.
The Assam Special TET exam is conducted annually by the Axom Sarbha Shiksha to fill vacancies in the Lower Primary teacher category. Only those candidates, who possess professional qualifications and wish to work as contractual employees, can participate in this exam. According to the official advertisement, the selection process only has a single written examination. Once the exam is over, the concerned board awards the TET certificate to the successful candidates on the basis of their scores.
