Secondary Education Board of Assam (SEBA) and Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) shall be announcing the board exam results soon, according to local media reports. SEBA is likely to announce the Class 10 results on July 30, 2021. Similarly, AHSEC is expected to announce the Class 12 board exam results on July 31, 2021. However, these claims are yet to be confirmed by the respective state board authorities. Once announced, students can check their results on the official websites i.e., sebaonline.org and ahsec.nic.in.
This year, the situation is quite different in terms of the Assam board exams. Unlike previous years, SEBA and AHSEC decided to cancel the Class 10 and 12 board exams due to the surge in COVID-19 cases. Students are now being evaluated based on alternate assessment criteria. This same situation is present in other states as well. Moreover, this is also in accordance with the guidelines issued by the University Grants Commission (UGC). Accordingly, all board have been mandated to announce their board exam results latest by July 31, 2021.
Last year, Class 12 students could check their results on the official website ahsec.nic.in. Therefore, AHSEC is likely to release the 2021 board exam results on the same website by July 31, 2021. To check their results, students will have to visit the official website of AHSEC i.e., ahsec.nic.in. On the homepage of the website, click on the link “Click here Download Marks sheet of HS Exam 2021” (once such a link appears). By clicking on the link, a new page will open. Enter the username and password to access this page. After submitting the details, the Class 12 board exam results shall appear on the screen.
SEBA had announced the Class 10 results 2020 on the official website sebaonline.org. The same is expected to happen this year. Therefore, to check their results, Class 10 students can visit SEBA’s official website i.e., sebaonline.org.Step 2: On the website’s homepage, click on the “Results” link. Under the “Get your Result here” section, click on the “HSLC/AHM Results – 2021”. By doing so, a new page will open. Enter the roll number and captcha code displayed on the screen. After entering the details, click on the “Get Result” option to access the results.
This year, full-fledged offline exams could not take place due to the second wave of COVID-19. The state is yet to recover fully from the pandemic. Hence, even physical classes have become a distant dream, let alone offline exams. Under these circumstances, AHSEC and SEBA came up with alternate methodologies to evaluate Class 10 and 12 students in a fair manner.
