Army Recruiting Office, Visakhapatnam is inviting eligible candidates from six districts of Andhra Pradesh for recruitment to the post of Soldier Pharma. A recruitment rally is to be conducted by ARO Secunderabad from March 05 to 24, 2021 at Telangana Sports School, Hakimpet. Intending candidates who fulfil the eligibility conditions can read the notification and apply online at joinindianarmy.nic.in from January 30, 2021, to February 28, 2021. Registered candidates have to report to the rally grounds along with the admit card. The admit cards are releasing online after March 01, 2021.
The recruitment for the post of Soldier Pharma is to be conducted from among candidates domiciled in six districts of AP viz. Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, East & West Godavari, Krishna and one district of Puducherry viz. Yanam. Applicants must be within 19 to 25 years old. The minimum height of candidates must be 165 cm, with proportionate weight and 77 cms chest measurement with at least 5 cm expansion.

Candidates must have passed Class 12/equivalent exam and qualified in D Pharma/B.Pharma. Applicants must have secured at least 55% marks in D Pharma course or 50% in B.Pharma course. Furthermore they must be registered as a pharmacist in State Pharmacy Council or Pharmacy Council of India.
After confirming the aforementioned and other associated eligibility criteria, candidates can apply online at the official website of the Indian Army. One must register to generate login details and then fill up the application form online. The admit card is scheduled to release around 10 to 15 days from the first rally day.
As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the rally is going to be conducted in six different centres in the vicinity of Telangana Sports School. Candidates can check the details of the reporting centre, time and schedule when the admit card releases.
At the rally grounds, Physical Fitness Test is to be conducted. This includes 1.6 km run, Pull Ups, 9 Feet Ditch and Zig-Zag balance. The Physical Measurement Test is also conducted at the rally site. Those who qualify through these physical rounds have to qualify through the Medical examination. Candidates who qualify through medicals are declared FIT and issued admit cards for appearing in Common Entrance Examination.
Applicants have to carry a list of specified documents to the rally grounds which includes the admit card and 20 copies of unattested, recent and coloured passport-sized photographs.
Selected candidates are to be dispatched for training after the issue of Rahadari Certificates. There is no application fee for this recruitment. However, applicants must read the complete notification for the terms & conditions of military recruitment before applying.
