AP EAMCET 2021 Engineering Exam Starts Today

The AP EAMCET 2021 exam is conducted for admission to Engineering, Agriculture and Pharmacy courses in Universities & affiliated colleges of Andhra Pradesh.

Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada has commenced the AP EAMCET 2021 exams from today i.e. on August 19, 2021. The Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test (AP EAPCET) exam, which was previously known as the AP EAMCET exam is conducted as an admission entrance test for UG Engineering, Agriculture and Pharmacy programs offered by Universities and private colleges in Andhra Pradesh.

As per the official schedule, the AP EAMCET 2021 exam will be held starting today on August 19, 20, 23, 24 & 25, 2021 for admission to the Engineering stream and on September 03, 06 & 07, 2021 for admission to Agriculture and Pharmacy streams. The exam is conducted in two sessions on each exam date. The two sessions of the exam are scheduled from 09.00 AM to 12.00 PM and from 03.00 PM to 06.00 PM.

JNTU Kakinada is conducting the AP EAMCET 2021 exam in the form of a Computer Based Test. The exam is of 03 hours duration and the question paper consists of 160 Multiple Choice Questions as per the prescribed syllabus. In this context, candidates may note that the admit card for the AP EAMCET 2021 exam is already available for download through candidate login on the official website sche.ap.gov.in/EAPCET. The admit card for admission to Engineering programs was released on August 12, 2021, while the admit card for admission to Agriculture and Pharmacy courses was released on August 25, 2021.

It is important that candidates have the AP EAMCET 2021 admit card with them when they are reporting at the exam centre today and on subsequent exam days. Without the admit card, downloaded from the official website, no candidate will be allowed to enter the exam hall or sit for the exam.

As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the AP EAMCET 2021 exam is being conducted as per a revised and reduced syllabus. The conducting body has reduced the syllabus of the second year by 30%. However, the complete syllabus of the first year is applicable for the AP EAMCET 2021 exam. Candidates can get the detailed syllabus of the AP EAMCET 2021 exam by visiting the official website sche.ap.gov.in.

Registered candidates are advised to report to designated centres as per the indicative timings on the AP EAMCET 2021 admit card. One must also carry a valid photo identification proof along with the admit card. Besides, since the exam is held amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, candidates must adhere to all COVID prevention protocols. This includes wearing a face mask, carrying their own hand sanitiser and refraining from sharing belongings with others.
