Aligarh Muslim University is inviting applications for recruitment of eligible candidates to fill up vacancies for the post of Senior Resident. 10 vacancies are advertised in all. The University has published a detailed recruitment notification in this regard at the official website i.e. amu.ac.in. Eligible and intending candidates are being invited to forward their applications for recruitment to the contractual vacancies on the prescribed format. The application proforma is available for download and other instructions from the AMU website i.e. amuregistrar.com. The last date of receipt of applications is September 02, 2020 till 2.30 PM.
As per the detailed recruitment notification, there is a single vacancy existing for the aforementioned post of Senior Resident in the Department of Anesthesiology. On the other hand. 02 vacancies are available in the Department of Cardio-Vascular & Thoracic Surgery while 04 vacancies are available in the Department of Medicine. Under the Dept of medicine, one vacancy is available for the Gastroenterology department and the other one is available for Nephrology department. In addition, one vacancy each is available for the post of Senior Resident in each of the departments of Dermatology, Radio Diagnosis and Pathology. All the posts are temporary in nature.
Applicants must at first ensure that they are fulfilling the minimum eligibility conditions as per the specifications of the AMU mentioned in the official notification. Candidates must have qualifications as per the rules of the Medical Council of India/Residency Scheme, adopted by AMU. This includes the possession of necessary degrees and other qualifications in the fields of medicine in the concerned speciality. In addition, it also includes the age limitations applicable on the candidates applying for the recruitment.
The selection of the eligible applicants is to be done on the basis of interview. Eligible applicants are advised to visit the website regularly for any updates about the date, time and venue of the selection interview post-closure of the application window. However, candidates attending the interview will not be reimbursed any TA/DA to cover expenses. The application form can be downloaded from the AMU website i.e. amuregistrar.com. Candidates have to deposit a fee of Rs 500 through Cash Receipt or Demand Draft at State Bank of India, AMU branch. The DD is payable to the Finance Officer, AMU, Aligarh at State Bank of India. Applications along with the receipt of fee payment must reach the Dean’s Officer, I.N. Medical College, Faculty of Medicine, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh-202002 on or before the last date.
