In the latest notification, Chattisgarh Public Service Commission has announced the recruitment drive for Assistant Director Public Relations. An official notification in this regard can be downloaded from the CGPSC website, psc.cg.gov.in. The recruitment for CGPSC Assistant Director Public Relation is conducted for 05 vacant posts. The online registrations for the aforementioned posts will start from August 28, 2020, onward. All the eligible candidates are advised to submit their forms before the last date i.e September 26, 2020, by 11:59 PM.
To apply for Assistant Director Public Relations, candidates must possess graduation degree in English and degree in Journalism in English medium. Candidates must have attained the lower age limit of 21 years while applying for the announced posts. Moreover, their upper age should not exceed that of 30 years as on January 01, 2020. Refer to the official notification to get the information related to the age relaxation, reservation and others.
Online registration and application procedure starts at psc.cg.gov.in. Before aspirants initiate the registration or application procedure, they must be ready with certain documents/ information. Candidates must keep a valid email id, mobile number, payment details, scanned photograph, scanned signature to upload/ provide information. On successful registration, a system-generated login and password details are sent to candidates. This information should be kept safe until the CGPSC recruitment process ends.
Candidates who belong to SC/ ST/ OBCC (Npn-creamy layer)/ Disabled category of Chattisgarh state have to pay Rs. 300/- as the application fee. All the other candidates shall make a payment of Rs. 400/- as the CGPSC application fee. Also, CGPSC provides the option to edit the application form. The procedure for the same starts from September 29, 2020, to October 15, 2020. Once the window to edit the application form closes then no other request in this regard is accepted.
The selection for the announced posts is on direct recruitment basis. This means that a written examination will be conducted. CGPSC organises the examination for 300 marks. The schedule for the same is not yet discussed in the notification. It is expected that the information for the same will be out soon after the application procedure ends. Candidates interested in the syllabus and scheme of the examination must go through the official notification available on the website. The written examination is followed by the interview. Here, they have to carry certain documents in support of the educational qualification, age and others. This stage is conducted for 30 marks. The CGPSC final merit list is prepared based on the marks obtained in the written examination and interview.
