Amdavad Municipal Corporation is conducting written exam for the recruitment of Sahayak Junior Clerk on September 1, 2019, for which, the corporation has issued call letter at ahmedabadcity.gov.in. Government job aspirants who had applied against advt 02/2019-20, must download and print the call letter and appear for exam on announced date.
AMC Sahayak Junior Clerk exam date 2019 was announced in the second week of August. Whereas the call letter was issued quite recently, last week. Besides these two critical updates, the corporation has published another important thing.
Exam candidate list of Sahayak Junior Clerk have also been published on the official website. There are four files. One contains application ID 1 to 72579, roll number 100001 to 164080 details. Second one has application ID 72581 to 152450, roll number 164081 to 226597 information. Likewise the third and fourth lists are there for other application numbers, roll numbers. Exam venue for each candidate is provided in the list.

The mcq test for sahayak junior clerk will have 100 questions. There will be 30 questions on general knowledge, history of Gujarat, geography of Gujarat, art and culture, constitute of India, basic science, current affairs (India and Gujarat), environment, general administration, government schemes. Then there will be 10 questions on Gujarati grammar and literature. Thereafter there will also be 15 questions each on English grammar, maths and logical test, basic of computer, and Ahmedabad city.
This recruitment is for 434 vacancies. Candidates with second class in graduation and CCC passed were invited to apply from June 26 to July 11. Later the deadline to apply was extended to July 18.
Now that call letter is available, candidates can download the same. Login details required to do the same are application number and date of birth. The corporation has also provided a link called forget application ID (sic), which essentially allows one to retrieve forgotten application ID by their mobile number and date of birth.At Amdavad Municipal Corporation, there is an ongoing recruitment for Sahayak Sanitary Inspector, for 70 vacancies. In it, selection is on basis of interview and last date to apply is September 19. Sahayak Technical Supervisor recruitment is also ongoing for 33 vacanciesm also an interview based selection. Last date to apply for the same is September 10. The corporation is also hiring for Sahayak Garden Supervisor with 46 vacancies, for which, registrations are ongoing until September 3. Seeds of the corporation were sown back in British rule, as a municipality that celebrated 100 years in 1935. The Amdavad City Corporation was then founded in the year 1950.
