The university has also extended the last date for the students to submit the semester fee till December 25, 2021. Students who are yet to do so must keep in mind the last date. They can make payments via the same login facility using their user ID and password. The recent protest against AKTU’s decision to hold an offline exam is due to the prevailing pandemic situation and the rising fears over the Omicron variant.
A section of students have taken to social media and claimed that they have been forced to appear for offline exams and thus, they now want the chief minister’s intervention in this matter. Some have even claimed that the syllabus for the upcoming odd semester examinations has not been completed. This along with several other problems have now given rise to protests for conducting online examination.
So far, the officials of the university have not commented anything on this matter. Due to the rising Omicron cases, the government has warned against unnecessary travel and urged everyone to maintain social distancing carefully. On the other hand, some other students have also requested the officials to extend the semester examinations. As of now, an official response from the university’s end is awaited.
