All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi is looking for eligible candidates for the vacant posts of Senior Residents/ Senior Demonstrators. For this, the conducting body has also released an official notification online at aiimsexams.org. As per the notification, AIIMS Delhi has announced the recruitment for the 344 vacancies for the Senior Residents/ Senior Demonstrators posts. Online applications for recruitment can be submitted via the online website. Candidates can apply for these posts before January 07, 2021.
The advertised vacancies include recent, backlog vacancies of SC/ ST/ OBC and those posts which will fall vacant between January 01, 2021 to June 30, 2021. Aspirants can check the various subjects, speciality under which the Senior Resident/ Senior Demonstrator vacancies are advertised through the notification. Those who are recruited for the posts are appointed for the tenure period of 03 years.
AIIMS Delhi Senior Resident/ Senior Demonstrator Recruitment 2020 Detailed Notification
Applicants will be shortlisted for this recruitment via CBT exam. As per the notice, the CBR exam is expected to take place in the last week of January 2021. This Competitive Entrance Examinations will consist of one Paper in English comprehension. It will include 80 MCQs. Each question will carry 01 marks and there is no negative marking. Thereafter, eligible candidates can appear for the interview. The interview will be conducted for 20 marks. The final merit list for all categories is prepared on the basis of combined marks of online test and interview.
So, to apply for the aforementioned posts, applicants must meet the eligibility criteria. They should have a postgraduate degree/ MD/ DNB/ MS/ Masters degree in a relevant field to apply for a Senior Demonstrator/ Senior Resident post. Provided they have qualified the qualifying examination by February 28, 2021. In case, the candidate’s result is declared after February 28, 2021, then their candidature is cancelled.
Also, ensure that candidates participating this year fit the age criteria as well. They should not exceed the upper age limit of 45 years as on February 28, 2021. Candidates can check the age relaxation and other reservation benefits via notification.
Eligible candidates can apply online through aiimsexams.org website. For successful submission, candidates have to pay the application fee as well. General/ OBC category candidates have to pay Rs. 1500 plus transaction charges. Those who belong to SC/ ST/ EWS category have to pay Rs. 1200/- plus translation charges. However, persons with disabilities are exempted from the fee submission. Furthermore, candidates belonging to SC/ ST category will get the application fee of Rs. 1200/- refunded on appearing in 1st stage of CBT.
