With the second day of the AFCAT 1/2022 coming to an end, experts are predicting that the cut offs will go higher this time. Both mentors of the AFCAT exams as well as test takers have said that the level of difficulty of question papers this time is lower than that of previous years.
As per the inputs on today and yesterday’s AFCAT paper, it appears that the cut off will be above 159, and can reach upto 165. Whether it will be above 165 or not is debatable, though there are slight chances.
AFCAT (1) 2022 Expected Cut Off
The cut off of the paper is expected to be high as almost all of the students claim that the exam was of an easier difficulty level considering the other shifts that were already completed. Refer the table below for details

In the past 10 exams, the highest AFCAT cut off has been 165 for AFCAT. As per the analysis of experts, AFCAT 1/2022 cut off will definitely be above 159, and could be around 165. However not all certain that the cut off may break the 165 barrier. Nevertheless, the possibility is there.

Analysis of 13th February Shift 1 Exam
The first shift of day two of Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) (1) 2022 was conducted by the Indian Air Force (IAF) today from 9.45 a.m to 11.45 a.m, and second shift from . The difficulty of the exam was easy to moderate according to the attended candidates and various educators who have analysed the same.
Candidates who attempted the exam were of the opinion that the exam was of moderate difficulty. A good attempt of the exam ranges between 65 and 75 questions. Almost everyone gave the opinion that they were able to do well in the exam. Since the exam was almost easy there will be normalisation according to subject experts.
