AFCAT 2 2020 Admit Card Out; Steps to Download Here!

Indian Air Force has issued the e-admit card for AFCAT 02/2020 online exam scheduled to be conducted from October 3 to 5, 2020 at designated exam centres across the country

Indian Airforce has issued the admit cards for the AFCAT 02/2020 at the official website afcat.cdac.in. The online examination is scheduled to be conducted on October 3, 4 and 5, 2020 at designated centres across the country. Applicants of the Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) 02/2020 must download the admit card from the official website before the exam by logging in to the website. AFCAT 02/2020 admit card can be downloaded from the AFCAT website by entering the registered email ID and Password. It is compulsory to produce the hard copy of the admit card at the exam centre to appear for the test on the scheduled exam dates.

The procedure to download the AFCAT 02/2020 admit card involves few easy steps. After opening the official website afcat.cdac.in, candidates have to click on the “Candidate Login” option at the top of the page and select the AFCAT 02/2020 Cycle option. Thereafter one must enter the registered email ID and password to log in to the website and access the AFCAT 02/2020 admit card online. The soft copy of the admit card must be downloaded and printed by the candidate. It is recommended that candidates generate multiple print outs of the admit card and preserve them for future reference.

The Air Force conducts the AFCAT entry exam twice a year to fill up vacancies in the Flying Branch and Ground Duty (Technical & Non-Technical) branches, NCC Special Entry and Meteorology Entry into the Indian Air Force. The admit card for the 02/2020 intake was scheduled to release three weeks before the exam and applicants have to download and print out the admit card from the website. It must be noted that the Air Force also sends the admit card to the registered email ID of shortlisted candidates before the exam.

It is mandatory to carry the printed copy of the issued admit card to be designated exam centre on the day of the exam. In addition to the e-admit card, candidates must also carry a valid photo identity card to the exam centre for verification of identity. As per the instructions provided in the official notification for AFCAT 02/2020, candidates must carry their AADHAR Card and another valid photo identity card such as PAN card, passport, driver’s license, voter card, college identity card. Such an identity card must contain the details of the candidate’s name, father’s name, date of birth and clear photograph of the candidate. Candidates must also paste 02 copies of identical photos submitted during online registration on the admit card. The photographs must be pasted and not stapled to the admit card next to the printed photo. Another copy of the photograph must be carried to the centre and pasted on the attendance sheet on the exam day.

Referring to the official notification of the AFCAT 02/2020 Cycle, the Indian Air Force has clearly indicated that admit cards will not be sent by post and individual applicants must download the admit card in their own interest from the official website as per schedule. Candidates must take care to verify that the personal information present in the front side of the admit card are in accordance to the details furnished by the applicants through the online application form. In addition, instructions related to the admit card and other exam day guidelines are also present on the rear side of the admit card which must be carefully understood and complied with.
